Responsibilities
  • Manage Facilities Management (FM) services through direct suppliers, ensuring safety and compliance to provide a safe and operational environment for the business and customers.
  • Monitor the quality of services delivered by suppliers via IKEA monitoring platforms and service agreements; follow up on audits and annual reviews.
  • Support FM budgeting activities and the annual business plan; attend weekly meetings to discuss performance and contribute to solutions with the Multi-Site Facilities Management Manager.
  • Assist in controlling operational costs, including reducing utilities spend, raising purchase orders, and reviewing supplier invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensure permits, licenses, certificates and reporting measures are in place to stay compliant with local and national legislation and internal FM requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical support in daily operations and FM-related projects; participate in FM-related projects as required.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to ensure units are well-maintained and in good condition.
  • Contribute to IKEA's sustainability initiatives within FM delivery.
Qualifications
  • Experience in all aspects of FM-related services with a track record of delivering reliable, efficient services.
  • Strong contract management skills and a solution-focused mindset to resolve FM issues.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Autonomy, initiative, and excellent communication skills to deliver tasks on time and within budget.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and FM software platforms.
  • Experience in service agreement management and KPI monitoring with suppliers.

These roles are permanent, full-time; you will participate in a five-week roster covering weekends and peak periods. Standard working days are Monday to Friday; every five weeks there is a Saturday & Sunday duty requirement.
