We're on the hunt for a hands-on, experienced Café Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our bustling Paddington café. Weekends are our busiest days, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can motivate a diverse team, and is ready to be part of a long-term success story.
Leading and mentoring a team of 6–8 staff across FOH
Managing rosters, service flow, and day-to-day operations
Working closely with owners and senior staff to maintain high standards
Stock ordering, supplier management, and daily reporting, assisting in gathering social media content for the marketing team.
Full-time position
Must be available Friday to Sunday (non-negotiable for now)
Flexibility on weekdays

What We're Looking ForExperience in a busy café or casual dining environment (min. 2 years in a leadership role)
Confident in running service, leading from the front, focused on great customer service & hospitality
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and approachable
Solid knowledge of food safety, stock control, and POS systems
Confidence to manage both experienced team members and to mentor and train Junior team members who are starting their hospitality journey.
Confidence to communicate with leadership regarding forward planning for growth.
