About Alike Health:
Alike Health is new, specialist medical and healthcare hub launched in 2025 purposefully co-designed to support people with a disability, intellectual disability and complex health needs.
Alike Health and its space have been designed to be inclusive and collaborative, and with a focus on equity and accessibility in healthcare.Incorporating specialist doctors (including rehabilitation specialists, psychiatrists and pediatricians) and allied health, Alike Health also includes Aesthetics At Alike, a cosmetics and aesthetics clinic.
We are now expanding the administration and operations team to support all facets of the business. This is a new opportunity to work in the administrationand operations team as Alike Health embarks on its journey.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Booking appointments, taking payments and managing multiple diaries on a practice management software system
- Answering incoming calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Providing support and assistance to our healthcare professionals
- Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly, welcoming manner
- Dealing with patient enquiries both over the phone and in person, sometimes in challenging situations
- Scanning and updating of patient files accurately
The successful applicant will also demonstrate:
- Exceptional customer service skills, displaying a polite manner and empathetic nature
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, with a positive and enthusiastic disposition
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
- A commitment to on-the-job training and ongoing learning and development
- Willingness and flexibility to cover staff on annual and sick leave
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paying attention to detail
- A willingness to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with a practice management software program.
- Experience in a mental health, specialist medical or allied health practice, highly regarded but not essential
- The ability to show empathy towards others and a general desire to assist patients, co-workers and professionals
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential
- Working with children check essential.
