Graduate Environmental Advisors at Westgold Resources contribute to environmental management systems, gaining practical and office-based experience in a leading Australian gold mining company.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Participating in a 2-year program focused on contributing to and assisting in the development and continual improvement of Environmental Management Systems.
  • Engaging in both practical and office-based work, with mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure environmental compliance and best practices.
  • Supporting the company's vision of building a sustainable and profitable gold business.
About you

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline.
  • Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • Ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical and drug and alcohol screening, right to work checks, and provision of a valid Australian national police clearance and driver's licence (or ability to obtain).
