We are looking for a special kind of person - a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As aFood Services Assistant, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Bronte facility.
St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107-bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

Things that work for us:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility
- High level of customer service skills
- Flexibility to work morning &/or afternoon shifts across the week
- Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards
- An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
