Overview

Food Services Assistant - Full Time & Part Time at Healthscope. Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service departments are looking to employ Full & Part time Food Services Assistants to join their busy department ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of food trays for patient consumption
  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance with established meal schedules
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
  • Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards
Selection Criteria
  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
  • No working holiday visa accepted
