Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service departments is looking to employ Full & Part time Food Services Assistants to join their busy department ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in preparation of food trays for patient consumption
  • Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance with established meal schedules
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
  • Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

Selection Criteria :

  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early / late shifts & weekend work
  • No working holiday visa accepted

About Northern Beaches Hospital

Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education centre, doctors lounge, and excellent staff facilities including café and car parking.
