WTFN's digital division Radar is recruiting for an experienced Channel Manager to join our passionate and talented team. Radar runs a network of 30+ owned and operated and partner YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat channels including Bondi Vet, Dog Whisperer With Cesar Milan and Oceanliner Designs.

The full time position is based in our Melbourne office with some flexible working.

Channel Manager requirements:

  • Rollout strategies and create and manage content schedules under the direction of Pod Lead.
  • Work with Creators to produce video content across various platforms i including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok
  • Manage multiple channels across various platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok
  • Grow audiences and generate revenue through understanding and applying monetisation optimisations
  • Community management and moderation
  • Data analysis and report writing
  • Brief editors to create multi-format video content
  • Thumbnails and graphic asset creation
  • Regular feedback and communication on channel performance metrics
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on platform best practices and developments and ensure these are applied
  • Any other production or channel management task as directed by the Pod Lead

Desired skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable 3+ years' experience managing entertainment brand channels across multiple platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TiktTok
  • Excellent written English and grammar and attention to detail
  • Proven working knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Competent in using and applyinganalytics and insights
  • Proven understanding of digital rights management and monetising video content on social media platforms
  • Demonstrable experience working with talent and producing original video content
  • Strong organisation, communication and time management skills
