Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Transport division. Your primary role is to plan and schedule operations efficiently within our Fleet Division.

Reporting to the WA Transport Supervisor, the responsibilities include:

  • Daily operational control of SCT Fleet, including Semi, Rigid vehicles, and subcontractors.
  • Scheduling and planning to ensure timely PUD deliveries to customers.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing driver rosters.
  • Monitoring driver activities to meet company and customer standards.
  • Recording daily activities.
  • Reconciling subcontractor payments.
  • Assisting with KPI recording.
  • Preparing run sheets, manifests, and consignments.
  • Conducting driver toolbox meetings.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous Fleet Controller experience in the transport industry, preferably in FMCG warehouse or transit terminal environments.
  • Good knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area.
  • Understanding of OHS requirements.
  • Familiarity with Safety, Quality Systems, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of transport industry regulations and OHS, including Chain of Responsibility & Load Restraint.
  • SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with high self-motivation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills and computer literacy.
  • Willingness to complete tasks without compromising service quality.
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and staff management skills.
