Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager in Gippsland, the successful candidate must be able to:

  1. Lead and supervise a team of QA Assurance Officers to maintain our Quality Management System.
  2. Ensure the consistent delivery of quality products and support operational and strategic goals through monitoring QA practices.
  3. Perform daily quality control procedures, lead the team, and oversee QA tasks.
  4. Initiate corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  5. Assist in preparing QA reports, analyzing CAR/NCRs, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures.
  6. Ensure products meet hygiene standards, Aus-Meat export, and domestic regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience supervising Quality Assurance and Management programs.
  • Knowledge and application of safe working practices.
  • Aus-meat and/or MSA qualifications are highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Effective communication and computer skills (MS Office).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to getting things right the first time.
