.NET Project Technical Delivery Lead – Contract

Location: Sydney CBD – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

About the Role

We're seeking a Tech Lead with deep .NET expertise and hands-on experience in Azure environments, with a proven record of delivering complex enterprise projects. Whilst there is hands-on coding responsibilities - it's more about driving technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring solutions are designed well, teams are guided, and vendors are held accountable. You'll typically oversee 2–3 projects at any time, spanning ERP upgrades, CRM/D365 initiatives, and internal systems enhancements.

What You'll Do
  • Own technical delivery end-to-end: design, architecture, testing, and go-live
  • Lead and mentor a small dev team, alongside vendor resources
  • Implement and review CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, enforce quality standards
  • Scope, challenge, and negotiate with vendors to ensure viable solutions
  • Communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We're Looking For
  • Strong .NET background (C#, ASP.NET)
  • Experience with Azure (DevOps, cloud services, or PaaS solutions)
  • Enterprise or government-scale project experience
  • Solid grasp of solution design, integration, and delivery
  • Skilled across the full SDLC, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews
  • Ability to balance technical leadership with delivery ownership
  • Excellent communicator bridging business and tech teams
