The Opportunity

We are seeking Engineering Surveyors for our Survey Team on medium-scale civil projects in the Ipswich region, involving infrastructure, earthworks, residential, industrial, commercial, and mining projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Survey Manager to deliver projects
  • Ensure work complies with survey specifications
  • Manage surveyors and assistants on site
  • Provide engineering survey support for design, construction, and monitoring
  • Manage machine control systems

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science, or similar
  • Extensive experience with paving and Pavement Machine Control systems
  • Knowledge of current surveying techniques and project delivery
  • Experience with TBC, 12d, and surveying equipment
  • Strong numerical accuracy and analytical skills
  • Effective relationship-building skills
  • Management, planning, and leadership skills
  • UAV experience (advantage)
  • Excellent planning, organizing, problem-solving, and motivational skills
  • Ability to work independently
