What we do

Youth Opportunities is a national organisation for-purpose that empowers young people to overcome life's challenges through the provision of personal leadership programs. We have been delivering these programs for over 27 years and supported more than 15,560 young people.

About the role :

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Events Coordinator to join our high-performing Revenue and Partnerships team, parttime for 4 days per week. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering Youth Opportunities' major fundraising and internal events—such as our iconic Stars in the Garden luncheon, Annual Golf Day and Graduations—as well as leading community and corporate fundraising activations.

This role blends project management, stakeholder engagement, and creativity in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment. You'll work closely with our team, volunteers, committees, and corporate partners to deliver high-quality events and supporter experiences that raise vital funds and awareness.

If you are right for this role, you will :

Be a confident self-starter who thrives on creating memorable experiences and building meaningful relationshipsBring professionalism, energy and attention to detailHave a solid minimum of 2 years' experience in event management, fundraising and marketingHave a proven ability to manage end-to-end event delivery with multiple stakeholdersHave excellent time management, problem solving and communication skillsBe able to work evenings and weekends for key events as requiredDemonstrate a positive personality consistent with the Youth Opportunities ethos of personal leadership.
