Kanda is looking for passionate team members to provide outreach support to children and young people by:

  • Providing compassionate and person-centred support to young people with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Fostering a safe and nurturing environment contributing to growth and development.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create tailored support plans and interventions.
  • Empowering individuals to build essential life skills and promote independence.
  • Using daily routines to provide hands-on training for life skills such as cooking, personal care, and budgeting.

Requirements :

  • Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
  • Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, and sleepovers)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth / Social Work, etc.)
  • Experience working with young people / children
  • Experience working in other support work related fields, i.e., disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare
