Casual Opportunity
The salary range is $37.35 to $40.05 per hour plus casual loading, based on experience.

The Role
As a Youth Worker - CIS, you will provide direct care, guidance, and support to children and young people in out-of-home care, fostering safe and nurturing environments for their growth and healing.
This role suits someone passionate about youth work, familiar with trauma and disadvantage, and eager to be a positive role model.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily care and support per each young person's care plan
- Build trusting relationships and promote positive behavior
- Organize activities that support development and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support culturally safe practices, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
- Transport young people safely, following guidelines
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or Certificate III in Community Services (or equivalent experience)
- At least 1 year of experience working with children, youth, or families in community or care settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current driver's license (P2 or above)
- Willingness to obtain a Blue Card, Police Check, and LCS screening
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the Child Protection Act 1999 and Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
