Enterprise Risk Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to become a crucial part of the Enterprise Risk team, where you will contribute significantly to the development and management of risk management frameworks.
You will be working closely with a collaborative team, gaining broad exposure to operational risk, credit risk, compliance, AML/CTF, cyber, and data governance.
Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies and frameworks.
- Conducting thorough credit quality reviews and producing high-quality credit quality reports.
- Leading incident and breach management processes, including investigations, reporting, and remediation activities.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory and legislative standards, as well as following up on issues and audit recommendations.
- Providing expert risk advice and responding to queries from lenders.
- Supporting the team with day-to-day activities, providing training and assistance where needed.
- A minimum of 6-8 years' experience in operational risk, credit risk, or enterprise risk management.
- A background in banking, preferably with experience in smaller or mutual banks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude, willing to take on new challenges.
- Ability to thrive in lean environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
