Key responsibilities include:
- Providing proactive Line 1 risk and compliance support and advice across strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Overseeing the implementation and ongoing embedment of our Risk Management Framework, ensuring consistent application and compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Delivering timely and high-quality risk and regulatory advice and related training to legislative requirements impacting projects and business operations.
- Partnering with business units on projects and initiatives to provide risk and compliance guidance and oversight.
- Preparing and presenting risk and compliance reporting for executives, regulated entity boards, and regulators.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Knowledge of risk and compliance best practice, including relevant regulations and industry standards within the insurance and finance sectors.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree-qualified in commerce or finance, or similar, including professional certifications highly regarded.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Project management experience is highly valued.
