Reporting to the Residential Sales Manager, you will service our existing accounts and expand new business across the Southeast / East of Melbourne area.
About The Role
We are on the hunt for an Account Manager extraordinaire. Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Do you thrive in building strong, lasting relationships while juggling a variety of exciting challenges? If so, we want you to join our team at Hardings. You will have previous sales experience at a Sales Representative/Account Management level or similar capacity. Your ability to build strong relationships in a B2B environment within the residential building industry will help you succeed in this dynamic role. A passion for outstanding customer service will contribute to delivering required sales targets and KPIs while adding value to our customers. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target-driven environment.
Responsibilities- Consistently achieve sales, margin and product mix targets
- Attract new customers in addition to growing existing business
- Analyze sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Effectively manage a diverse builder-centric customer base
- Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives
- Communicate and represent both the Hardings and wider TTHG (Total Tools Hardware Group) brands to key industry stakeholders through sales meetings, training and industry events
- Strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in the building industry with a focus on FOW Plumbing, Appliances and hardware products
- Previous experience in a similar sales role
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
The right candidate can look forward to a competitive salary package negotiated based on experience. The base package includes a tool-of-trade vehicle and potential to earn additional incentives based on performance.
