What you'll be doing
The Claims Revenue Officer ensures efficient billing and supports debt recovery processes, playing a key role in maintaining timely revenue flow across the District.
In this role you will be:
Delivering accurate and timely billing services.
Following up on lodged claims for debt recovery.
Supporting billing queries across the district.
Assisting with revenue-related follow-up actions.
Contributing to consistent financial processes.
Selection Criteria
Understanding of Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), Revenue, private health insurance & other billing arrangements.
Experience in utilising PowerBilling Revenue Collection (PBRC), Revenue Portal, i.PM (Patient Administration System), Microsoft Office applications, Content Management (HPECM) and Powerchart.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, considering the impact on others to achieve outcomes.
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people from a range of professional and social backgrounds.
Demonstrated high level of analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.
Capacity to work independently and as an effective team member with the ability to facilitate and support the team to achieve required outcomes.
Demonstrated exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
