Overview

Our client is a large government department delivering a major cyber program and they are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping and implementing critical security initiatives across the enterprise. Based in Fortitude Valley, this is an initial 2-month contract suited to an immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and document cyber security system and application requirements, ensuring delivery of effective and integrated technical solutions.
  • Prepare system requirement specifications, design artefacts, support, and procedural documentation to capture and maintain critical intellectual property.
  • Identify and document system interfaces and interconnectivity to enable integration partners to leverage existing and new solutions.
  • Work with key stakeholders, including technical SMEs, governance groups, and vendors, to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.
  • Support release planning, piloting, and deployment of cyber security technologies and tools into large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Provide guidance and advice to project managers, business analysts, and technical teams within a matrix program environment.
  • Manage assigned deliverables against agreed schedules, proactively addressing risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain progress.

The successful candidate will have proven experience delivering technical analysis within cyber security projects in complex enterprise environments, and demonstrated expertise with network and cloud security technologies, including firewalls, SaaS, and secure web gateways.
