Senior Technical Analyst/Technical Business Analyst to support a major cyber security program within a large government department. This role will focus on analysing and documenting cyber security system and application requirements to deliver secure, effective and well-integrated solutions.

You'll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to design and document systems, map requirements, and support the roll-out of new cyber security tools and technologies.

Experience within the Queensland healthcare sector will be highly regarded and make you an excellent fit for this role

Responsibilities
  • Analyse ICT and cyber security system requirements and map solutions.
  • Prepare requirement specifications, system designs, support, and procedural documentation.
  • Document specifications for integration partners to leverage system and application interfaces.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture technical processes and requirements.
  • Support other analysts, technical consultants, and change managers within the program.
  • Manage assigned product delivery against agreed schedules.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience delivering technical analysis activities within cyber security projects/programs.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, management, and automation tools for firewalls.
  • Experience across technology domains such as network and cloud security (firewalls, SaaS, secure web gateways).
  • Strong background in release planning and deploying solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to document application interfaces and system interconnectivity.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
  • Experience working within healthcare or large government environments.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth or Queensland ICT frameworks.
  • Exposure to Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar).
Skills and experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Proven capability to work in high-performing teams under tight deadlines.
  • Experience providing guidance to other team members and project resources.
