C&H Recruitment is working with a specialised engineering company based in Mackay, QLD. They focus on the repair and overhauls of underground mining equipment
We are requiring Mechanical Fitters for approx. 4-6 week project with high possibility for extension onto the next overhaul works in the workshop
Location: Mackay workshop
Hourly rate: $60.24 per hour + penalties (based off client EA)
Shifts/Hours: Day shift 6am starts Monday to Friday with 8-10 hour shifts wit overtime
Requirements: Trade certificate, ability to pass pre-employment medical, high risk licenses, dogman, and gantry crane (advantageous)
Main duties will include
- Repair/maintenance on underground associated mining gear
- Strip, overhaul, rebuild, and assemble mining equipment
- Interpret drawings and specifications to complete machinery assembly and rebuilds
