Overview

Temporary full-time position, up to June 2026. Location: Dubbo (other Central West LLS offices will be considered). Salary starting from $113,574pa + super.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Lead key National Heritage Trust (NHT) program requirements and ensure the dynamic delivery of the program.
  • Annual revision and updating of the Central West Local Land Services (LLS) NRM Plan and lead the mid-term Plan review.
  • Participate in internal and external communities of practice, advisory groups, and information-sharing forums.
  • Manage the RCS operating budget and associated activities.
  • Coordinate reporting and maintain service delivery evidence.
  • Lead project mid-term outcomes review processes and support community participation in project delivery.
  • Assist Project Managers in implementing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Improvement (MERI) Framework.
Essential Requirements
  • A degree in agricultural, environmental, natural resource management, biosecurity, or emergency management, or equivalent industry knowledge and experience.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence with the ability and willingness to travel.
  • Willingness to undergo a police check and medical clearance.
Experience & Skills
  • Project coordination: ability to lead and coordinate program requirements for the National Heritage Trust program.
  • Stakeholder engagement: strong interpersonal and communication skills for workshops and stakeholder relationships with Australian Government Departments.
  • Strategic planning: maintain currency of natural resource management planning and participate in communities of practice and advisory groups.
  • Financial management: budgeting, invoicing, procurement and contract management guidance.
  • Community collaboration: support and plan for community participation in project delivery.
  • Communication and reporting: develop effective project communications and support MERI implementation.
  • Relationship management: establish and maintain relationships with Australian Government Departments.
  • Governance and compliance: adherence to governance frameworks and Grants Guidelines.
  • Record-keeping: meticulous documentation and adherence to records standards.
  • Safety: commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
