Job details

Highlands Nordic is looking for a highly organized, positive and mature individual to be part of the hard working staff team overseeing our full service Café. This individual will be expected to coordinate a menu (supplied) and ensure that the café is well supplied for weekend traffic. That will include working with other staff to coordinate food preparation, track inventory, create supply lists and ensure the café is clean and well organized. Food and drink service to general public required, including staffing the cash register. Creativity and decorative skills welcomed

This position is seasonal full time (between 30 - 40 hours per week), Wednesday to Sunday, beginning December 1, 2025 and ending March 22, 2026.

  • Manage pre-planned menus, including food preparation
  • Manage how much and what needs to be made (primarily baked goods, soups and chili)
  • Track inventory and create shopping lists
  • Serve drinks and food
  • Prepare food and baking
  • Dishes
  • Fill in on facility tasks as required (bathroom checks, garbage checks, table wipe down etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
