Chelgrave Contracting is currently looking for C8 maintenance fitters with FMCG backgrounds.

About the role:
- Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machines
- Effectively carry out preventative maintenance duties
- Maintain production plant
- Work with operations team to communicate and provide detail of machine status
- Trade Certification in Mechanical fitting
- Post trade qualification will be highly regarded
- Minimum 3 years' post trade experience.
- Sound break down and planned maintenance fitting knowledge
- Previous experience in the FMCG industry
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing strategies and initiatives
- Understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with good reporting skills
- Excellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices
- A keen interest in advanced technologies

- We pay to EBA rates and conditions $66.75 p/hour casual (C8) + $28 daily travel allowance + Superannuation + contributions to Protect
