We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and to delivering proactive and enthusiastic personnel to our clients.Chelgrave Contracting is currently looking for C8 maintenance fitters with FMCG backgrounds.About the role:Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machinesEffectively carry out preventative maintenance dutiesMaintain production plantWork with operations team to communicate and provide detail of machine statusAbout you:Trade Certification in Mechanical fittingPost trade qualification will be highly regardedMinimum 3 years' post trade experience.Sound break down and planned maintenance fitting knowledgePrevious experience in the FMCG industryKnowledge of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing strategies and initiativesUnderstanding of HACCP and GMP principlesAbility to communicate effectively with good reporting skillsExcellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practicesA keen interest in advanced technologiesWhy Apply:It's not just talk, we DO look after our people:We pay to EBA rates and conditions $66.75 p/hour casual (C8) + $28 daily travel allowance + Superannuation + contributions to ProtectAll PPE is suppliedWe are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and conduct pre-assignment safety assessmentsWe have a strong employee focus with reps carrying out regular welfare checksWe work with our clients to ensure the scope of the job is classified appropriately and we deliver the right person with the right skills and attitudeWe recognise your value and appreciate your contributionApply For Job
