As the Manager (Risk Advisory), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the department's enterprise risk management capability. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver strategic and operational risk initiatives that support TMR's vision and strategic objectives.
In this role, success means leading a confident and capable team, delivering meaningful risk insights to senior leaders, and helping embed a culture where risk is understood, valued, and actively managed across the department.
Responsibilities- Lead the advancement of TMR's enterprise risk framework by aligning it with the department's strategic objectives, strengthening organisational risk capability, and driving continuous improvement in risk management maturity.
- Provide strategic, high-level risk advice to senior leaders, while building capability through training, trend analysis, and promotion of risk-based decision-making.
- Lead the development of risk appetite and profiling, deliver actionable reporting to executive stakeholders, and proactively identify emerging risks to strengthen departmental resilience.
- Oversee the effective use and continuous improvement of TMR's Risk Management System to support robust risk processes, reporting, and decision making.
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture, mentor staff, chair TMR's Risk Management Reference Group, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders.
