Within our Windsor Gardens Facility, where this role will be based, we produce dry pasta, fresh pasta, cup noodles, coffee, and semolina.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to provide strong, hands-on leadership for our busy Maintenance Department.
This includes overseeing daily operating maintenance, preventative maintenance, purchasing, continuous improvement, actively contributing to the leadership team, and problem-solving issues as they arise.
The successful candidate will need to plan, manage, and ensure the team collaborates effectively to complete preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and projects in a timely manner.
This is a day shift-based role, but being a maintenance manager role, it will require regular overtime depending on operational demands.
The typical hours are:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:15 pm (2:15 pm finish on Fridays). Overtime will be required.
This position does not offer work-from-home options.
About you:
The ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues on production and packaging machines, while maximizing machine efficiencies through proactive maintenance and problem-solving, is essential. You will also coordinate projects and preventative maintenance activities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required:
- Proven experience in mechanical problem-solving and planning
- Project and preventative maintenance management experience
- Leadership experience in maintenance and engineering
- Experience organizing and managing teams
- Knowledge of the food or manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong team problem-solving abilities
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering / Fitter & Turner or equivalent
