The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc is a large, well-established hospitality venue that caters to a diverse clientele. It comprises a bistro, terrace restaurant, bar, public bar/TAB, gaming room, and several private function rooms.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the team and assist in the day-to-day operations of this busy venue, helping to guide the business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Venue Manager in the daily operations of the venue
  • Managing a large team across all areas of the venue to ensure excellent and consistent customer service
  • Leading by example in a hands-on role
  • Inspiring and motivating the team
  • Interacting with customers and staff to handle inquiries promptly
  • Opening and closing the venue, cash management, and daily reconciliation

To be effective in this role, the successful candidate:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality management in a similar role
  • Be available to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Demonstrate great interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic
  • Hold current RSA and RSG Modules
