Our Sunbury centre, which has been operating successfully for several months, is seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Centre Director (2IC) to join the leadership team.At Little Stars, we know our Centre Managers and Assistant Centre Managers are the backbone of our centres.

Above Award salary packageUp to 95% childcare discountfor your own childrenCareer advancement pathways and ongoing professional developmentSupportive, approachable, and experienced Centre ManagerRecognition & staff appreciation programsAbout the RoleAs Assistant Manager, you will:Support the Centre Manager in day-to-day operations of the service.Lead, guide, and mentor a passionate team of educators.Conduct family tours, manage enrolments, and help build occupancy.Assist with staff rosters, compliance, and reporting to the Department.Work towards KPIs while maintaining the highest quality of care.Build and nurture strong relationships with families, children, staff, and the wider community.You'll be supported with comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring, ensuring you thrive in this leadership role.Candidate RequirementsDiploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (minimum qualification)Minimum 1 year experience in a 2IC or similar leadership roleCurrent Working with Children Check & National Police CheckCurrent First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma management certificatesTraining in Child Protection, Safe Sleep, and Food SafetyStrong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLFExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsPassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality early learningOur CommitmentLittle Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten is committed to providing all employees with a safe, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.
