Reporting to the General Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven automotive professional to join the team at RM Autohaus as an Assistant Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the workshop and ensuring the smooth running of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the General Manager in overseeing workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocationSupervise and support the team of automotive technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer serviceProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff membersLiaise with customers, managing expectations and resolving any issues that may ariseContribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and policiesEnsure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standardsAssist in the recruitment, training, and development of new team membersWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of workshop operations and managementExcellent technical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairProven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholdersA passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning and improvementWhat We OfferAt RM Autohaus, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
