Overview

Senior SQL Developer — Australian Government — Day Rate Contract - Initial 6-Months — Sydney CBD & WFH

The role: As a SQL Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining databases for a government financial services regulator.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust SQL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and manage deployments via Microsoft DevOps.
  • Partner with the data modelling team to ensure database designs support analytical and operational needs.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all solutions.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, SSMS, and Microsoft DevOps.
Requirements

Important: Must be an Australian Citizen based in Sydney. Baseline Security Clearence would be preferred.
