Job Description:

• SQL Server Expertise:
  Proficient in managing and optimizing SQL Server environments , with a strong grasp of installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching best practices.
• Backup and Recovery:
  Designed and executed backup and disaster recovery strategies, employing tools like Commvault and SQL Server utilities for robust data protection.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning:
  Conducted proactive performance monitoring and tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and resolving deadlocks to ensure optimal system performance.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
  Demonstrated capabilities in managing Always On Availability Groups and executing disaster recovery plans to maintain continuous operations.
• Troubleshooting and Collaboration:
  Effectively collaborated with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues, meeting SLAs and achieving organizational goals.
• Documentation and Training:
  Produced comprehensive documentation and trained operations staff, enhancing DBA task execution and knowledge transfer.
• Patching and Migration:
  Successfully managed database updates and migrations, minimizing disruptions and ensuring seamless transitions.
• Automation and Support:
  Developed and maintained SQL Server Agent jobs and provided 24/7 production support, leading critical incident resolution.

  Query Optimization, Execution Plans, Indexing, T-SQL Query Tuning

  Always On Availability Groups, Clustering, Disaster Recovery
• Monitoring & Maintenance:
  SQL Server Agent Jobs, Maintenance Plans, Performance Monitoring
• Reporting:
  SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Scripting & Automation:
  Unix Shell Scripting, Automated Maintenance Tasks
• Cloud Services:
  AWS EC2/RDS, Azure SQL
• Security & Compliance:
  Data Encryption (TDE), Role- Based Access Control, Auditing
