Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader – Software Development to join our team.

This role is a key business partnership supporting our group's software development and integration needs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions, leading a small team, and continuously improving our products and solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement solutions aligned with business objectives, utilizing appropriate technologies in line with the Enterprise and IS Strategy.
  • Lead a small team to develop high-quality business solutions and integrations.
  • Support, operate, and improve existing products and solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet the information and decision support needs of internal and external customers.
  • Work within an agile methodology as part of the Enterprise Applications group.
  • Analyze logs and analytics to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Support and maintain existing systems and solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for supported solutions.
  • Stay updated on best practices and improve workflows.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership to foster a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
  • Set goals, provide feedback, manage conflicts, and address issues.
  • Promote open communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-skilling.
  • Conduct regular meetings, check-ins, and wellbeing assessments.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding for new team members.

What you will bring:

  • Strong architecture and design skills in the Microsoft stack.
  • Advanced knowledge of .NET / C#.
  • Good documentation skills for functional and technical specs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience mentoring team members.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud platform and cloud solutions (Microsoft certification preferred).
  • Knowledge of API design, DevOps, and coding best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
