This is a physical, outdoor role that requires hands-on work across multiple aspects of crop and field management.
You'll be part of a hardworking and reliable team, contributing directly to the production of high-quality vegetable seed while leading and supporting others in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for both carrying out and supervising day-to-day field activities to ensure optimal crop health and productivity, including:Preparing fields through cultivation, bed forming, fertilising and irrigation setup/managementApplying crop treatments via knapsack sprayingOverseeing and assisting team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safelyMaintaining consistent attention to crop quality and field conditionsBenefits$32.04 per hour plus penalties3-6 months with potential for long-term employmentApprox.
