- Overseeing training, licensing, and workforce competency programs.
- Providing meaningful HSEQ reports, insights, and recommendations.
- Proven experience in a senior HSEQ role within industrial services, construction, resources, or renewables.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001 and relevant WHS legislation.
- Mandatory: Health and Safety qualification (Certificate minimum; Diploma or Degree preferred).
- Mandatory: Root Cause investigation training (e.g. ICAM).
- Desirable: Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
- Desirable: High Risk Work or Heavy Vehicle licences.
- Desirable: Internal auditor qualification with demonstrated practical application.
- Credible communicator able to influence at all levels, from field crews to executives and regulators.
- Strong leadership and coaching capability to build management confidence in safety leadership.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HSEQ data and provide actionable insights.
- Proactive, resilient, and self-motivated; able to balance competing demands.
- Strong work ethic and passion for embedding a zero-harm culture.
- Practical and hands-on approach — comfortable rolling up sleeves where required.
- Committed to BOOM's STRIDE values.
- An opportunity to make a visible impact on BOOM's safety performance and culture.
- A role that offers both strategic influence and real operational involvement.
- Competitive remuneration package.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Career development opportunities within an ASX-listed business.
- A workplace committed to inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
