Your role:

As Customer Service Manager, you will lead the front-line team in the efficient operation of reception. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be open to others' views, and take accountability for your decisions. Your focus will be on delivering an exceptional experience, resolving problems proactively, and adapting plans as needed. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting residents with enquiries related to their residency, studies, and wellbeing.
  2. Building a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and development.
  3. Providing timely, professional, and encouraging performance feedback.
  4. Managing resident accounts for rent and sundries accurately.
  5. Overseeing check-in and check-out processes at tenancy start and end.
  6. Liaising with third-party service providers for building maintenance, cleaning, security, etc.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in student accommodation or hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Reliable with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills with proactive escalation when necessary
  • Competent in using various systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid Registration Certificate with the Office of Fair Trading QLD
  • Recent National Police Check (within last 3 months)
  • Working with Children's Check (QLD)
