SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW ROLE WILL ENTAIL

Full details will be provided at the client interview but will include:

  • Ensuring timely and favourable settlement of claims
  • Keeping clients informed of the status of claims in a timely manner
  • liaising with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes
  • Using claim settlement as a marketing tool
  • Developing and maintaining an appropriate knowledge of insurance
  • Keeping management and others informed appropriately about work
  • Leading, motivating, counseling, and assisting with staff development
  • Using personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position
  • Performing any and all other duties as required
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH

Reports to the Claims Manager and works with a friendly, efficient team.

VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE

You will need some exposure to motor (both heavy & light), property (including Landlord & Farm), liability, marine transit & travel.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
