We are seeking a hands-on leader to take full ownership of the operations and performance of AVLC. Lead from the front, motivate and empower a large, passionate team, with autonomy to deliver real change to the centre. This role provides strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership to ensure a thriving facility through the aquatics, health club, café, gym and allied health services.

About the RoleDue to an internal promotion, we require a new hands-on manager to take full ownership of the operations and performance of AVLC. Lead from the front, motivate and empower a large, passionate team, with autonomy to deliver real change to the centre. This role is about bringing strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership to ensure a thriving and engaging facility through the aquatics, health club, café, gym and allied health services.
About YouA proven team leader who has managed and coached large teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments, with guest experience at the core of your philosophy. You possess a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with stakeholders, while confidently managing the financial performance of the facility. Key Skills- Experience in managing and operating a facility in leisure or service-related industry.
- Business and financial management skills
- Driving guest experience, sales & retention
- Passion for coaching, developing and mentoring staff
- Practical knowledge of operational management
- Understanding of OHS and public safety applications
- Energetic, innovative and inclusive leadership style
- Availability to work evenings and some weekends
- National Police Check*
- Working with Children Check*
- Current CPR Certificate*
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)*
