About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director / Centre Manager to lead our vibrant childcare center in Ferntree Gully, VIC. As the Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high-quality care and education of the children in our centre, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the business. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional leadership and management of all centre operations, including staff management, budgeting, and compliance with regulations
  • Ensuring the delivery of a stimulating and nurturing educational program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Fostering strong relationships with families and the local community to promote the center's reputation
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and professional development of the childcare team
  • As it is a lovely small Centre, you will be taking the responsibility of Educational leader as well as covering breaks whenever required.
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant environment for children, staff, and visitors
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the center to achieve the best rating.
  • Development of business and ensuring full capacity occupancy rate.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior management role within the childcare industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (Diploma or bachelor's degree) or a related field
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of educators
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of National Quality Framework, EYLF, Regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Passion for creating an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for children
