Overview

Ventia are seeking First Nations Australians for multiple Grounds Maintenance positions based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

Position: Grounds Person - Indigenous Opportunities at Ventia.
Location: Edinburgh, South Australia, Australia.

These roles align with our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and focus on building Relationships, Respect and Opportunities with First Nations communities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ride-on mower, whipper snipper and other equipment.
  • Upkeep and maintain gardens and lawns.
  • Participate in general labouring of the grounds, and assist other trades and services at building and plumbing trade sites or as directed.
  • Regularly clean and conduct daily maintenance of vehicles, grounds equipment, machinery and tools.
Requirements
  • Must be willing to undertake a Ventia Pre Employment Medical including drug and alcohol screen.
  • National Police Check for the purpose of obtaining a Defence Base Pass (assessed on a case-by-case basis).
  • Able to follow procedures and work within a team environment.
  • Current driver's licence.
Position Includes (but not limited to)
  • Operate ride on mower, whipper snipper and other equipment.

  • Regular daily maintenance of vehicles, grounds equipment, machinery and tools.
