Breakthru is proud to be delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. This role supports more people to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers by working side-by-side with participants to explore career goals, build confidence, and connect them to opportunities. You'll collaborate with employers to understand their needs and provide staffing solutions that fit, including training and promoting inclusive hiring practices.
You'll be part of the Royal Rehab Group, a respected not-for-profit with over 125 years of experience delivering disability and rehabilitation services. This provides stability, resources, and support to grow your career and make a real impact in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities- Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
- Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
- Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
- Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
- Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
- Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
- Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
- Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
- Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. You may have experience or a genuine passion for employment services. You're confident supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers. You're outcome-focused, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
You understand an employer's business, its people, culture, and challenges so you can identify staffing solutions that fit. Your relationship-building skills help you connect with clients and employers, and your ability to deliver training and knowledge of inclusive employment practices supports a lasting impact.
You're proactive with marketing and networking, with strong attention to detail to keep records accurate and professional. Above all, you approach work with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred service.
Essential Criteria- Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
- Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
- Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Driver's License - essential
