About The Opportunity

Our Emergency Management Department is seeking experienced, proactive, and adaptable ESO/Operators to join our expanding teams across Central & Southern Queensland regions. Ideal candidates will have exposure to the coal mining industry, emergency response services, and machinery operations. Applicants must possess strong communication skills, computer literacy, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and in teams.

Successful applicants must be based in Queensland, Australia.

Mandatory Qualifications Required

To be eligible, you must hold:

  • Standard 11 Induction
  • Open Manual Licence or above
  • Current CPR & First Aid – HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID014, HLTAID015
  • HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
  • RII's or SOA's in Dump/Haul Truck, Dozer, Loader & Excavator
  • Current QLD Coal Board Medical
  • National Police Certificate (issued within last 12 months)
  • Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue, including units such as PUAFIR207, PUAFIR210, PUAFIR316, PUAFIR324, PUASAR022, PUASAR024, PUASAR025, PUASAR032, RIIERR201E, and PUAEQU001 or PMAWHS211

Mining Skills Australia may accept evidence of these units separately from the Certificate III.
