About Ampol :

Our company has always been about more than fuel. From our origins until today, we've always been inspired by the role we can play in people's lives – to keep them moving, to make journeys happen. Here at Ampol, we are proud of our heritage as Australia's only owned fuel brand. For over 100 years we have supported Australians to travel far and wide, and we'll be here for 100 more powering better journeys for today and tomorrow.

About the role :

Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role is a floating position which requires you to be flexible in travelling to other depots to relief or if additional support is required based on operational needs. You will be responsible for customer service, order processing, reporting, stock management, administration and completion of routine depot compliance tasks. A portion of the role will also involve delivering lubricants products within the region, establishing rapport and maintaining relationships with our existing customer base. This role is on dayshift Monday to Friday.

You will play an important role as part of a wider team across a network of depots within the region, working with the fleet coordinator, drivers and other depot operations coordinators to deliver safe, reliable and competitive outcomes for our customers. This is a busy and varied role offering scope for learning and development into other roles. It is a great stepping stone into the wider Ampol business.

  • Promote health, safety and wellbeing across all depot activities.
  • Complete routine depot compliance, maintenance and inspection tasks.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the Territory Manager.

About you :

You are an experienced professional in a similar role who thrives working in a team environment. You display a 'can do' attitude, are self-motivated, and willing to take on challenges. You focus on providing high-quality service to customers with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Skills and experience :

  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and stock control/management.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and transport/logistics.

  • BabyCare Package: financial and flexible support for parents returning to work.
  • Novated Lease options.
  • Employee Share Scheme.
