Overview

Ramsay Health Care is hiring a Café Assistant to join the hospital cafe team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sell coffee, tea and other beverages; basic food preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital requirements
  • Clean and sanitise workstations and food court areas
  • Provide fast, friendly and exceptional customer service
  • Work with a team and, where required, autonomously
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced cafe environment
  • Strong task prioritisation and time management
  • Completion of a Barista course or equivalent; experience as a Barista (if applicable)
  • Experience in food and beverage preparation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster; cash handling experience
  • Experience in the health care industry (Desirable)
