The Opportunity A great opportunity for a compassionate and proactive Clinical Manager to oversee and support the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day practice operations, ensuring excellent client care, leading a team of multifaceted practitioners, including counsellors, social workers, domestic violence specialists and behaviour change specialists. The role also involves close collaboration with other healthcare and allied health professionals, government departmental agencies and community stakeholder to provide excellence in service delivery. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Actively contribute to the organisation's leadership by being a solution-focused leader Ensure the integrity of data and information available to clients Participate in developing a supportive and safe working environment Lead and oversee the recruitment and establishment of new staff Provide strength-based, person-centred supervision and leadership to the clinical team Oversee the implementation of the organisation s monitoring, evaluation & accountability governance About You Bachelor s degree in social work, counselling, psychology or a related field A recent clinical history in domestic violence practice with solid understanding of the requirements with DV crisis response Proven experience in healthcare administration or operations management Superior and effective energetic leadership, communication, collaboration, decision making and problem-solving skills Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills Understanding of budgeting, and quality improvement processes Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills Proven capacity to represent the organisation in public forums Well-developed analytical and technical ability Demonstrated experience in implementing and monitoring risk Ability to interpret and understand multiple levels of legislative documents Ability to manage stressful work environments Experience in working with personal and sensitive information and maintaining confidentially Proficient in Microsoft Office skills Current driver s licence Current Qld Working with Children Check Blue Card. We are seeking a highly experienced Group Clinical Governance Manager to take ownership of quality and safety across multiple healthcare sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and accountability at all levels of the organisation.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with senior leaders, you will lead the rollout and oversight of the organisation's Clinical Governance Framework, ensuring alignment with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and embedding a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of a standardised Group-wide Clinical Governance framework.
  • Ensure full NSQHS Standards compliance across all sites.
  • Implement and oversee robust systems for incident reporting, complaints management, risk registers, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Clinical Governance KPIs and scorecards for site, executive, and board reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR to embed staff orientation, education, and mandatory competencies.
  • Provide leadership in risk management, incident reviews, and accreditation readiness.
  • Attend and contribute to site and group quality committees, ensuring trends, risks, and improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon.
  • Roll out governance systems to new sites as the organisation grows.

About You

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in a senior clinical governance or quality improvement role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Psychology, Allied Health, or related field (postgraduate qualification in health administration/public health desirable).
  • Proven expertise in NSQHS Standards and accreditation readiness.
  • Strong track record in mental health, addiction care, residential, or aged care settings.
  • Highly skilled in clinical audits, risk management, and policy development.
  • Inspirational leadership style with experience coaching multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
