Overview

Position

We are offering a part-time (2-3 days per week) permanent Paralegal position in our Family Law Team. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking person who is a Law Student, a PLT or a Law Graduate. This role would suit a 3rd or 4th-year law student and has potential to evolve into a long-term career with Genuine Legal. Mentoring will be provided to gain real experience working in a law firm.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting Solicitors with Court appearances and Mediations
  • Assisting Solicitors with legal work, drafting documents, collating disclosure, etc.
  • Case Management
  • Billable target
Qualifications / Attributes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills
