The Role

The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is 'exceptional care, healthier lives'. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.

This position is based within the Allied Health Departments of St George Hospital.

St George Hospital is currently undergoing Stage 3 of its redevelopment, preparing to open a new Kensington Street Building (KSB) in early 2026. This building will bring together a range of day-only, ambulatory, and outpatient services currently delivered from various locations around the hospital campus. This will improve accessibility for patients and their carers, especially for those less mobile or with chronic health conditions. Allied Health staff and outpatient clinics will operate out of the KSB from 2026.

This role provides administrative and clerical support services to enable the Allied Health Departments of St George Hospital to achieve their objectives efficiently and reliably.

Selection Criteria

  • Ability to deliver quality customer service and handle a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding environment.
  • Organisational and time management skills, including attention to detail, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in responding to enquiries and providing appropriate responses.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to improvements in practices and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in computer hardware, software applications, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
