  • Hourly Rate: $31.52 - $45.57 + 12% superannuation & salary packaging

The OOHC Aboriginal Health Worker will join a multidisciplinary team, providing culturally sensitive support for children and young people in statutory OOHC. You will be the primary contact for carers and caseworkers, facilitating engagement with the OOHC Health Pathway Program (HPP). Your responsibilities include coordinating health assessments, supporting the development of Health Management Plans, liaising with external health providers, the Department of Communities and Justice, and NGOs to ensure optimal health outcomes.

You will attend multidisciplinary clinic appointments, especially for complex cases, and provide follow-up support to carers. Your work will bridge communication between clinical teams and Aboriginal communities, ensuring culturally respectful and effective care.
