This is a fixed term, full time / part time vacancy available for 12 months, with the possibility of extension, and/or permanency, subject to business requirements.

About The Role
The Knowledge, Information and Technology Directorate is accountable for the provision of services and technology that support strategic and operational services across the Department of Justice, enable information to be leveraged efficiently and ensure the Department's investment in technology is optimised.
Reporting to the Executive Director Knowledge, Information and Technology, the Assistant Director Information Release is responsible for leading, motivating and guiding the branch in the development, implementation and delivery of strategies, plans, policies and processes associated with the release of information to external parties in accordance with legislation, including the disclosure of information under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 , and the activities outlined in the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024.
Eligibility
Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
